Verify you are the owner
The first time you import an eBook file into Adobe DE, it will probably ask you to verify that you are the purchaser. This is part of the Digital Rights Management (DRM) process. Usually you will be asked to enter the credit card number from which you purchased the eBook. This is a one-time process.

8. Transfer your eBook library from Adobe DE to your e-reading device.

After downloading your eBook, open Adobe DE. Then double click on the eBook you downloaded from eBookPie and it should automatically import into Adobe DE.

If you are using a dedicated eReading device, follow the manufacturers directions for transferring your Adobe DE titles to that device. (Because there are now so many readers on the market and more being released all the time, we do not yet have separate instructions for each device.)

Go to the the How to Tutorial for the iPhone/iPod touch here.

Will other eBooks of other formats work with the eReader software?

No. eReader is an application used to read eReader (or files with the extension .pdb) eBooks on your Palm OS, Pocket PC, Windows, Symbian, Windows Mobile Smartphone or Mac. Without eReader, you will not be able to read eReader eBooks, and other eBook Readers will not work with eReader.com eBooks.

Are eReader books encrypted?

Yes, eReader.com eBooks are encrypted with DRM to protect the authors’ work.

Is eReader free?

Yes – there is no charge to download and use eReader.

Why does eReader ask for my credit card number when I open a book for the first time?

This is a requirement of the eReader DRM (Digital Rights Management) system used to prevent unauthorized copying of the eBooks.
